Freestyle Kayak Courses

Help! I’ve never paddled a boat this short before!

A super-fun introduction for paddlers who have never paddled a freestyle boat or who are just starting out in this discipline. This course will look at the fundamentals of freestyle and give you an understanding of how the boat interacts with the water.

Pre-Requisites: Paddlers will need to have experience on Grade 2- 3 White Water, having a white water roll is not necessary but would be beneficial.

Playboating Progression

So, you can get on the waves and even pull off a few moves, but you want to progress onto more exciting moves, or become more controlled and consistent on the wave? This course will be tailored to take you on to the next level in your playboating.
Pre-Requisites: Paddlers will need to have experience on Grade 3 White Water, having a white water roll is not necessary but would be beneficial.

Superhero Training

If you can already spin, surf and move your boat around confidently, but are not sure where to start when it comes to pulling off the big moves, then this course is for you. It will look at giving you the tools to progress your freestyle paddling from where you are now, to infinity…. and beyond!

Pre-Requisites: Paddlers will need to have experience on Grade 3 White Water, having a white water roll is not necessary but would enable you to get the most out of this course.
